Did you use a macro lens on photograph no 2? It is amazing. I also love the new growth cradled tenderly in the gnarled old roots. The whole series of photographs have been a real delight - and that includes yesterday's group which I didn't have time to comment on.
Thank you Jackie, it was a trip I badly needed to do again. I could bearly move that day due to arthritis and I thought I could hike it out. It felt good to get my body moving and working hard and the fact that I did that in one of the most beautiful places in Tasmania was a pleasure. The arthritis pains paled into insignificance when surrounded by such beauty and the fresh, clean air.

ReplyDeleteElaine: my camera is a Panasonic Lumix FZ100 and doesn't have interchangeable lenses. I took this using the macro setting.
