And Then They Sailed Away

With an eye in the sky and unusual spectator craft the tallships left Hobart on the the next part of their journey, to Sydney for a celebration of the Navy.


The Young Endeavour sailed past the spot where I'd taken photos of her as she entered 5 days earlier.

As they progressed down to the mouth of the Derwent River, the weather conditions deteriorated quite a bit as a rain squall almost obscured the ships from view.

Looking like ghost ships, the Tecla and Europa make their way down the river.
