Dawdling along in Dodges

The gum flowers were just so delicate

A dragon fly stops for sustenance.

Time to give my macro lens another workout.

Ducks on the lagoon. This lagoon is a great home for a variety of water birds.

Then began the walk along Red Ochre Beach (named because red ochre was mined here a long time ago)

Sea Urchin bowl

View over to Spectacle Island which is a bird sanctuary. Note the hole through the middle.

Where the sandstone meets the beach.

Sea sponges and sea weed aplenty.

and the odd ex-crab

More boat houses.

Sea shells

Rocks with strange patterns
