Adventures on Bruny Island

Two Tree Point at Resolution Creek, where Captain James Cook replenished his water supply when his ship pulled in here in 1777. Captain Bligh named the creek in 1788 when he visited in his ship the Bounty.

Reflections on Captain Cook's Creek

Bounty washed up in the bay.

A very tame bird.

The wonderful old lighthouse which is undergoing a much needed facelift.

We enjoyed a day of lovely rain after the drought we had to persevere for months.

A couple of old trucks we came upon while exploring the island.

Other assorted machinery from times gone by.

Ahh, the country life for me.

A lazy seal resting and just posing for photos.

A sunset looking back towards the mainland of Tasmania.
