After the Storm

Huge storms recently in Tasmania have unearthed an old shipwreck, the Zephyr which sunk in 1857at Marion Bay

A huge amount of weed, driftwood and even live shellfish was washed ashore after the storm.

The place where the creek meets the sea had changed due to masses of sand being shifted. All the dark stuff to the left of the photo is all the organic rubbish that got washed up.

Then we visited the Weilangta rainforest in the hopes of photographing fungi but the storms had washed them all away. Here are the rock overhangs that were heavily dripping with moisture.
