Winter Wednesday

This is linked in with HAZEL's Winter Wednesday http://hazel-dene.blogspot.com/2011/06/winter-wednesday-5.html

  What I love about Winter

The days are still creating wonderful reflections on the river, this is the view from my lounge room window at home.

Hardenbergia in flower climbing over my balcony.

My bed, I have a lovely woollen doona that only get used in winter and its so snug and warm and feels wonderful.

Snuggling down to read a book you've been hanging to read.

Signs of Winter

I always say that when you see the first Robin Redbreast that it's the first sign of winter.  I had to laugh recently when I spotted one and said that I'd seen the first sign of winter. My DH replied "I thought all the recent frosts would have been a dead giveaway that winter was here!!!" Well, yeah! Anyway, today's photographs are taken just after the frost.

I have been contemplating issuing myself a challenge and here it is.  I am going to see if I can photograph my way through the alphabet.  So any time soon I will be starting with "A".
