Ever felt that you don't fit in? I've felt that my entire life, but now I am OK with that. I'm attempting to live a more simple life. I'm now taking time to smell the roses or take some photos of things that appeal to me visually. © copyright PrimroseHappySnapper. Legal action will be taken if copyright is breached.

A Day at Snug
Snug is a small seaside village about 30 minutes out of Hobart. It is popular for holiday makers and retirees. It is quite a beautiful spot. |
There is a walking bridge which takes you to the cliff tops. |
I was amazed to see Snowdrops growing in the bush. |

Adventures with Renee
My daughter Renee, who lives in Melbourne, decided she needed to get back to home soil and has come to Tasmania for the weekend. Today we decided to go exploring.
As the morning progressed the weather didn't look like it was going to deteriorate that quickly, so we decided to adventure further on down the Tasman Peninsula. |
A view of Cape Huay |
This is the first glimpse of Roaring Beach |
This big wombat was here the last time I was here. He is a bit of an enigma, as he's the only wombat that is not nocturnal and seems to enjoy hanging out in the sun. |
Django had the best time running, unimpeded from one end of the beach to the other. |
After leaving the beach, we saw a sign to a historical site. This is the old coalmine settlement at Slopen Main. |
It was a mine which began in the 1840's and was worked by convicts. It now is a World Heritage Site. |
Even though the work conditions would have been miserable, the scenery was not. |
We were contemplating the purpose of this rock formation. Was it a font, a toilet or a compost bin? Who knows? |
This tree with a very short trunk caught my eye. I really want to come back here again to explore further. |
