Mysteries of the Sea

Living by the beach, I get to see many moods of the sea, but on one day last week I woke up to something I had never experienced here. It was a mild, calm, and cloudless morning, when I saw a strange glow coming from the water and it would move around the bay. I had never seen anything like it before and although it looked like sun shining between clouds on the water, there were no clouds. All I can come up with is it was a school of silvery fish swimming near the surface and catching the light.

On the same still morning, when I looked at the beach, the usual lapping of the gentle waves, gave way to really loud crashing, but the sea was calm and nothing to cause huge waves to roll in and there was this strange mist rising from the water's edge. I found it all a bit peculiar

When bush walking the other day I came across this. It made me giggle.

Amazing Timelapse

Today's post is something I discovered which truly made me go WOW! What a beautiful place we live in.
Carissa Choh took this and put it together, of her travels. It deserves to be shown around the world.

Art in the Sand

When taking Django for a walk along the beach yesterday I spotted this strange spiral and shell arrangement and having a thing for shapes and detail, of course I had to photograph it, even if it was with my phone.

Little Visitor

Today, the maintenance guy came to check the septic system and he unearthed several frogs that got in the system and can't get out. This is one of the ones that he saved and put in the garden.
