The Pencil Project

As an Early Childhood teacher, I have access to loads of coloured pencils and I have taken some time experimenting and playing with the shapes and colours. This is what I have come up with.  Which photograph is your favourite?

  1. Wow - I can't decide. At each one I was thinking - that one! Then the next one came up and I thought - no - that one. Coloured pencils - who knew?

  3. Deb, your cleverness with pencils is incredible! These are works of art - truly wonderful.
My favourite? The second of the ones in the water.

  4. Susan: I made a mistake with those ones in the lemonade as I got it from the fridge and because it was cold, it made the glass condense and therefore the image was somewhat foggy. So lesson learned.
Thanks Chris and Jacqui for you comments. I'm afraid I can't choose a favourite as I'm have different reasons for liking each one.

  5. Hi, thanks for visiting my blog.

I love the ones of the pencils in the water (or lemonade as you've pointed out in a comment).

I do supply teaching and have recently come off contract in a prep classroom. I was forever sharpening pencils, and at the end of the day I'd batch them all up in containers ready for the next day - but they never stayed neat and tidy for long once the day got under way!

  8. Love all of the pencil photos, who would have thought that photographing pencils would be so interesting? I personally like the first and the one with the back tops (or bottoms) of the pencils. These wouldn´t be out of place in my colourfulworld blog. And thanks for visiting too.
I love the 50 things about me page, I´m a Pisces too but don´t like water (or I should say - cold water, as I don´t mind swimming in warm waters).

  9. Thanks for visiting A Feast for Crows and your kind comments. Love your pencil photos, very clever. Once I get the hang of things with the camera I will have to start being more inventive!
