Home and Away over the Last Few Days

Wandering around my garden at home I discovered these little beauties.

Sunset, Saturday evening down at the shack.

These bright cheery weeds is all that is flowering at the shack. But the garden is a work in progress there and by this time next year it will be a different story.

On arriving back home tonight, I was greeted with a rainbow. There has been a fair bit of rain lately and it's not over yet. Lap it up, garden.

  1. What a lovely post, full of beautiful photos.

I love Lupins but have never grown any. Your garden must be beautiful.

All this rain is certainly doing it good and don't the weeds grow like topsy?
Hope you enjoyed your time away and have a great week,

  3. Hello, Deb! It's nice to meet another Deb, though I realize it that era the name Deborah and its variations were as common as weeds. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a kind comment on my woodland garden post! I enjoyed reading the fifty things about you and also looking over your last few posts. You have some great photographs. Loved the people in hats! Your sunset and rainbow photos in this post remind me of some of the shots my son took when he visited Australia and New Zealand some years ago. I look forward to exploring your blog further!

  5. Love the purple lupins, for some reason all mine are pink...and I thought they were predominately purples. Oh well, wish I could have seen that gorgeous rainbow. Enjoy your beautiful world.
