Scavenger Hunt - A Solitary Tree

One of my most favourite things in the world to photograph are trees, usually dead trees. I just love the shapes and patterns the branches make. Each of these photos evokes different emotions in me.

My absolute favourite.

Future Proofing Our Lives.

Here is the bearded wonder is having the time of his life playing on the Dingo, filling up the garden beds with fertilised loanHe also had loads of blue metal to spread for the paths around the beds.
Here they are all filled, I've already planted several asparagus plants (that I got from home as they grow wild under the fruit trees in the orchard) Next time I go to visit my shack at the beach, I will plant spuds and sunflowers. The old swing sets you see in the picture are going to be recycled into a new hen house and run. So the shack is almost ready for us, all I have to do is win the Lotto so I can chuck in my job and move straight away or sell our home on the river and thats not even ready to go on the market yet! Just hanging out to go catch some fish for dinner off the beach.

World Peace

There is a paddock that I pass when I go to the shack and quite often there are words displayed. Sometimes it says CALM DOWN or SMILE. I enjoy going passed to see what the latest is.

Scavenger Hunt - On the shelf (any shelf, it doesn’t matter)

These are shelves in my office at home. The clock belongs to the bearded wonder, he has had it longer than he has had me. There is a collection of my pottery, seashells, old ceramic bottles, dug out of an old mining town in the 70's and 2 crystal balls.

Here, we have a quaint old picture given to me by a friend back in the 80's, a Campbell and McHugh bowl, a photo of my daughter, Renee when she was 18, (she's almost 40, now), a small clay drum, odd boxes, a stone egg as well as my Snugglepot and Cuddlepie book collection. The glass contains small polished stones and the glass bottle is a discovery bottle filled with small plastic toys, glitter and oil. Sorry about the grainy pictures, I used my iphone and the lighting wasn't really good. Next week we are looking at photos of solitary trees. I will post the list for next month in a few days when I get home from my holiday.

Scavenger Hunt - What happened at 6 o’clock? (morning or night, your choice)

My photos this week are of 6pm at various locations that I have been over the last fornight. I don't do mornings, so there will be NO 6am. pics. I don't think a pic of me or the bearded wonder sleeping would be at all interesting. This is the view from my living room window at home.

Last night at 6pm driving to the shack which on the opposite end of the island to home.

A fortnight ago when down at the shack, I took this photo from the front deck at 6pm.
Don't Forget:  Next week's photos are of something(s) on a shelf (any shelf or shelves) All contributers welcome.

Gnarly

I love Mt Fuji Cherry Trees but they only flower for 4 weeks each year. This Fuji, I can admire all Winter while it's void of leaves. I love the gnarly shapes the truck and branches make. I found it while walking in the city today in the grounds of Launceston's first hospital. I'd say the tree is quite old as well.

Sorry I am late today but I got caught up with doing work for school and forgot all about the time. Oops!

Challenge for next week: What happens at 6 O'clock. Morning or night, you decide.
