Good Ship "Notorious"

It's not every day that you see a Portuguese Caravel but there it was as large as life at the Hobart Wooden Boat Festival

It was handmade my a guy with big dreams.

An open grid in the deck that acts as a chimney for the open fire below.

The master suite

The open fire, note the flagstone floor

My very own pirate, the bearded wonder.

The spare bunk

Chests and the dining suite

The only rope of the ship is the one that rings the bell. The rest are called other names.

This photo is from the Herald Sun newspaper.

Notorious Sunrise by Phil Thomson just because I like it.

  1. Hi Deb, it was really beaut to see through the Notorious... complete with Pirate!
We took photos of just the outside when it visited Lakes Entrance a little while back, but didn't go aboard.
It was quite something to see - rather fancied having a couple of days' holiday aboard (with a comfy mattress though ;D))
