Architectural Quirks of Macquarie Street and Surrounds

Macquarie Street is the main oneway thoroughfare through Hobart that takes you North. We started in Franklin Square.

The bearded wonder nicknamed this photo "Shithead" which is unfortunate.

There are loads of these along the top of this building. They are supposed to look like electricity insulators as this is on the Art Deco styled building that used to house Tasmania's Hydro Electric Commission.

This used to be an old bank.

The original water board building. Derwent and Tamar are the two major rivers in Tasmania

Oops how did he get there?

A stalker reflected in the window.

For Dorothy.

  2. Loved all these Deb. Laughed quite loudly at the statue your dear bearded wonder named... you snuk that in quite beautifully.
Glad to see that stalker is still popping up in each post, forgot to mention the sighting in your last post ;D)
