Fungalicious Fungi Fun

Due an influx of favourable conditions, we have been festooned with fabulous fungi. Feast your eyes on a few of the umpteen varieties that grow here in Tasmania.  I was thrilled to have captured these tiny treasures, many no larger than match heads, which meant getting down and dirty and risking my life-blood to the leeches.

This a only a quarter of the fungi on this log.

and I almost found some fairies.

  3. Susan and Dorothy, you have no idea how much fun I had getting these. It was like treasure hunting and quite addictive, in the quest for varieties I hadn't photographed before. I daresay my fungi photography days are just beginning.
